    Trade Committee discussing traffic congestion
     
    Stressing on the need to end existing traffic jams occurs in highways

     
     

    Trade Committee members in Asharqia Chamber stressed on the importance of ending current traffic jams, especially those located on the highways, since this has a clear economic effects ..this came within several topics considered by the Committee during a meeting with the Traffic Manager in the Eastern Region Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Shanbari, in the presence of Traffic Section Manager Sir Ahmed Al-Wadaie and Manager of the Traffic Safety Sir. Ali Al-Zahrani.

    Members discussed a number of topics with concern to the commercial sector, most notably the recommendation to conduct a meeting with representatives from the Traffic Department and the Ministry of Transportation and the Municipality of Eastern Region and Asharqia Chamber in order to develop solutions for the existing problems and develop a general perception of future projects corresponding with the traffic jam.
     
    Furthermore; Meeting discussed the problem of traffic congestion, and the need for traffic controllers to be available with motorcycles to manage and break traffic jams, as well as directing accidents that impede traffic on highways as Jubail road and King Fahad bin Abdulaziz for example, due to the difficulty of Najem Cars access to the site due to traffic congestion resulting from such accidents.
     
    For his part, Al-Shanbari required to extend the duration of receiving traffic transactions of all branches of traffic to be working full time.
     
    Finally, Members discussed the period of authorization up to one year, said Al-Wadaie that he raised this request to the concerned authorities with this request and waiting for the necessary action.
